    ProviderEvent Description

Cool Cities CampaignThe Town of Winchester is in the process of measuring its municipal carbon footprint and creating a greenhouse gas inventory as part of our participation in the Sierra Club's Cool Cities program (CoolCities.us). The next step will be to set targets for future emissions.
LiveCooler FoundationReady to make a change? The LiveCooler Foundation will help you take a step to offset your carbon footprint with the proceeds earmarked to provide energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) to the Winchester's Housing Authority, where the bulbs will go to elderly/low-income housing.
Mass Climate Action Learn about adopting a low carbon diet and see how you can reduce your own carbon footprint .
Pledge To CommitNow is the time to convert education into action! Sustainable Winchester and Family Action Network (FAN) ask you to take one or more actions to promote a more sustainable Winchester. The goal of these steps is to reduce Winchester’s emissions of greenhouse gases that cause global warming. Collectively, we can make a difference and cool down our planet!

Eco Festival Pledge to Commit Raffle! Turn in a completed Pledge to Commit Form on the day of the festival and you will be entered into our prize drawing which includes a wide array of products from REI, and Eco Friendly Products donated by the Rotary Club of Winchester. In addition, one lucky entrant will win a free comprehensive residential energy audit (donated and conducted by Fred Yen and George Wood of Winchester’s Energy Management Committee). Limited to one entry per household.
