A Letter From Our Co-Presidents
Spring is in the air! OK, snow may still grace us again this year, but as we write this it is a beautiful, sunny day and we can’t help but look forward to the warmer weather ahead. It’s also an exciting time for FAN with many wonderful
events planned for the spring, which will give us the opportunity to:
- Connect with other career-juggling parents at a Working Parents playgroup
- Pet the baby animals at the traveling “Barnyard Babies” zoo
- Get fashion advice for spring and summer at a private shopping night at Nordstrom
- Enjoy the “Kids Olympics” and other Town Day festivities
- Meet other FAN volunteers and find a spot on next year’s committees at the April public board meeting

Moving right along to summer planning…we’d like to update you on our philanthropic effort to build a splash park at Borggaard Beach.
The FANSplash Design Committee has been working tirelessly with the Town all winter to address all pertinent issues relating to the installation of the splash park by this summer. FANSplash has raised enough money to cover the design and administrative costs of the project and install a basic splash pad. The only question remaining is: what kind of splash park would our residents like to build
for our children?
- Construction is slated to occur this summer, and the scope will be
determined by the amount we are able to raise by May 1st.
- We need an additional $85,000 to build the splash park of our kids’
dreams, so please donate now at www.fansplash.org!
