FAN 2008 CALENDAR
FAN BOARD MEETING
Wednesday, May 14, 7:00 pm

This is our last board meeting for the
07-08 year! Thanks for all of your efforts this year - we have really
enjoyed working with you all.
Save the Date for our June Family B-B-Que. Saturday, June 14 - we are
still looking for a host please email/call Courtney if are interested.
All members of the current, 07-08 committees as well as the new
committees will be invited and we really hope you can make it!
NEW MEMBER¹S PLAYGROUP
Fridays Bi-Monthly at 9:30 am or 3:30 pm
We invite you to join us for a playgroup intended to welcome those who are
new to FAN. The playgroup usually meets on Fridays twice a month at a FAN
member¹s home, and alternates between a morning and afternoon start time
in order to accommodate everyone's varying schedules. Please join us even
if you are an established member and would like to help us welcome new
members! Please email

if you would like to be added to the reminder/invite list, and she will
send you information about the playgroup locations.

MOM'S NIGHT OUT -
DINNER AND A MAKEOVER
When:

Location: Nordstrom's, Burlington Mall

Join us for a night of light dinner/snacks at the new Blue Stove
restaurant on the second floor of Nordstrom's and then a make-up session
with artists from Trish McEvoy.
As a charitable component we will be collecting make-up items and travel
sized toiletries (or samples of either) to donate to Dress for Success.
Please feel free to bring these items with you, however there is no
obligation to do so.

As our final parent event for the year, we will meet at Cafe Dolce to
sample their new wine bar. Weather permitting, we will meet outside on the
patio area to welcome summer. You'll receive an Evite later on in
May.
TOWN DAY
Saturday June 7th, 10-1
Location the Common
Town Day is a wonderful opportunity
to meet new folks in town! Although the town itself puts on quite the
show FAN and more specifically Children's Programming puts on an Olympic
event for the kids right on the common. We have basketball, a ring toss,
fishing, and coloring tables.
Volunteers are needed!
If you are interested in signing up to help at this event please contact
Kimberly Higgins We need help during the 10-11:30 and 11:30-1pm shifts
- refreshments will be provided!

FAN PLAYGROUP
Every Wednesday, 10:00-11:30am
beginning September 12
September - June
This is a great way
for moms, dads and caregivers to met, while the little ones have a ball
playing with toys. It’s located in the large Tucker Room (2nd floor) at
the First Congregation Church. There are familiar faces from last year’s
playgroup, and we hope to continue to have a great turnout of new members
as well!! Nervous about going alone? Never fear. Running playgroup this
year are four warm members of FAN. They will be sure to make you feel welcome
and introduce you to other members, even if you come late. So, if you
would like to get to know more people in town, this is place to go. And
the best part, it’s free for FAN members! For more
