The Family Action Network of Winchester is gearing up for another great year of providing exciting events and resources for families with young children! Our membership is a potential customer base for your business.
FAN is a vibrant, active, member-based network, currently consisting of more than 315 local families. FAN provides a wide array of activities and events for children and adults alike, and contributes a great deal to what makes Winchester such a desirable place for young families to live. We communicate with our members through the FAN newsletter, FANews, which is full of tips on local events, parenting advice and advertisements from local businesses and schools. Our family-oriented special events are extremely popular in Winchester, including our annual Families and Fire trucks event and our Kids’ Olympics at Town Day. Children also enjoy our music concerts, petting zoos, holiday crafts, and weekly playgroups. For parents, FAN provides evening social gatherings and the ever popular Annual Preschool Fair. We also strive to teach children about the importance of charity and giving back to our community though our “Community Connection” Program.
We have many new initiatives that will be launched in the fall, including our Downtown Halloween Event that we are organizing in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Winchester Recreation, as well as our efforts to revitalize Borggaard Beach and support our local economy by bringing a Splash Park to Winchester. These efforts will benefit all local families and bring our community together even further. If you would like to increase the visibility of your business to families with young children, FAN has lots of great ways to do it! By advertising in the FAN newsletter (FANews), FAN’s “Best of Winchester” Guide, or by sponsoring one (or more) of FAN’s events, your business will:
- Reach over 315 member families (and 600+ children) who contribute to FAN and, in turn, support and appreciate those businesses that likewise support FAN
