Community Connection

One of the hopes many of us share is that we live in an area with a strong sense of community; that we come together to work towards common goals, communicate with each other, and teach our children the importance of giving to others. FAN seeks to foster these goals through our community connection committee. This committee facilitates initiatives that take place either during regularly scheduled FAN events or on individual projects.


A few of our past projects include food, toy and clothing drives, pet care donations for an area shelter, collection of backpacks & school supplies for kids in need, and the organizing of Winchester’s First Eco Festival in collaboration with Sustainable Winchester. We also seek to develop and nurture relationships with our families and our senior citizens through our Intergenerational Events at the Jenks Senior Center.


We have many other exciting initiatives this year, and we encourage you and your family to join us in helping to make a difference!

Community Activities to Inspire

Give the gift of labor and time to a non-profit. It's easy to write a check. It's another to do work.


Help an elderly neighbor with snow shoveling or raking leaves.


Make a meal for a friend who's recently had a baby or who is ill.


Participate in community organizations and get involved with events.


Donate toys, clothes, furniture, and food to charities.
